Johnsonville Shopping Centre

If you grew up in Johnsonville in the 1970s you may remember ‘the J Mall’ with some fondness. Things have changed over the decades: malls became plazas and going to the shops became an ‘experience’… but essentially the J Mall is still The Mall and that’s what makes it a bit of a pet project for us here at Scooter. The team at the Johnsonville Shopping Centre wanted to celebrate their uniqueness. Scooter has developed the centre’s brand with a nod to the past and an energetic, vibrant and friendly feel. The mall is one of New Zealand’s first malls and it still has a relaxed, local feel. We think that’s a good thing.
